Onboarding problem: users do not understand the role of conversations

As a new user, I had no idea that the system's driving mechanism is conversational. I understand that I can annotate text with my comments, but I don't understand that I am expected to engage in conversations.

Documents are where knowledge is shaped. Conversations are where knowledge is negotiated. Together, they form the living memory of a community.

New users must understand that conversations are a core part of Seed, not an add-on.

In Seed, conversations are where knowledge is discussed, clarified, challenged, and transformed into shared understanding. They should feel as important as documents because they capture the living process behind the knowledge: questions, disagreements, decisions, context, and collaboration.

The product opportunity is to make conversations become durable knowledge spaces rather than disposable chat threads. This helps Seed stand apart from traditional document tools, messaging apps, and AI chat interfaces.
